The Hereford 5 'Widescreen' is a wider alternative to the standard Hereford 5 and features a much wider body for the ultimate visual display of the highly efficient fire. Constructed in the UK using the optimum combination of steel for the body with and cast iron for the door to ensure an air-tight combustion.
The large glass viewing window in the arched cast door is kept clear of soot and deposits thanks to an Actiview™ Airwash system. With the nominal heat output rated at 5kW, the Hereford 5 Widescreen is ideal for standard sized rooms and the innovative air controls below the fire chamber are clearly marked 'Wood' and 'Coal' to provide simple adjustment of the burn rate depending on fuel being burnt.
When burning smokeless coal, the FLARE Collection Hereford 5 Widescreen is supplied with steel “Hoppers” that fit into each side of the grate to reduce the burning rate of mineral fuels and to allow the fuel to self-feed on to the grate area. The Hereford 5 widescreen log burner comes as standard with an impressive air wash system and can also be direct air fed.
The Hereford 5 Widescreen is also EcoDesign Ready. The mark is awarded to wood burning appliances that are verified by HETAS as meeting the five fundamental requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2015/1185 24/5/2015 with regard to EcoDesign for requirements for solid fuel local space heaters. This highlights the commitment to improving appliance design so that stoves are cleaner, more efficient and contribute to improving our environment through lower emissions produced.

We offer Free Delivery within Mainland UK on all our products.
Smaller items such as inset gas fires and electric fires will be sent using a standard courier company. Be Modern complete fireplaces will be delivered on a special 2 man delivery service where the items will be taken into your home and all packaging removed. You will be contacted prior to despatch to arrange a suitable delivery day. A signature will be required on all deliveries.
