This model of the Highlander 8 incorporates 'Enviro-Burn' technology which uses hot tertiary air to burn the particulate exhaust matter, giving greater efficiency and a clean & clear burn. It also means that the Highlander 8 Enviro-Burn Solo can be used to burn wood (or smokeless fuels) even if you live in a smoke controlled area.
A popular choice for larger rooms, the stoves boasts an impressive heat output of up to 8.1kW. You also get to enjoy a wonderful view of the fire from a choice of two door options. The standard 'Solo' single door features curved edges to the top of the glass window whilst the 'SG' has modern, square edges all around the viewing window.
150mm (6") interchangeable flue outlet allowing for connection at the top or rear of the appliance. An active Air Wash System has been incorporated to keep the glass clean to give a full view of the superb flame pattern, this is created as the flames rise to meet the incoming air, this causes secondary combustion to take place, resulting in cleaner burn and dancing flames.
Finished in black as standard but for the more adventurous, there is now also a choice of coloured painted finishes available. The door handle can be supplied in black, pale chrome, pale gold or wood.
The Highlander 8 Enviro-Burn Solo is a highly advanced stove that is future-proof having been pre-approved for the upcoming EcoDesign directive. EcoDesign is the European-wide programme to lower emissions. It is due to come into force in the UK in 2022.

Due to the continuing rise in costs for delivery to Highland areas we have reluctantly concluded that having absorbed these costs for a long time this is regrettably no longer possible and we have had to introduce a fee for delivery to Highland postcodes.
