Continental Stone Supplies

Established in June 1998, Continental Stone Supplies, was a family run company based in Widnes, Cheshire. Employing over 20 people, they specialised in the importation of Natural stone from which they manufactured fireplaces and Granite worktops. Working with dedicated fireplace specialists throughout the UK and Ireland, they gained  a reputation over the years for offering quality affordable stone products, with a service to match.

In 2009, Continental Stone Supplies were bought out by Caterham Fireplaces in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Caterham Fireplaces are a specialist versatile manufacturer of fireplaces and fireplace interiors in marble and granite.

Caterhams have grown into one of the leading suppliers of fireplaces to independent showrooms throughout the Midlands, North of England, Scotland and Wales. To cope with this growth they have doubled their factory space from 16,000 to over 30,000sq. feet since 1995.
