Timeless in design managing to complement both classical and contemporary settings, the Wychwood Gas Stove features a huge glass viewing window for the ultimate view of the authentic ceramic log effect fuel bed and dancing flames. The flame effect is so realistic it is hard to tell that this isn't a real log fire!
The ACR Wychwood Gas Stove boasts an incredible high heat output of up to 6.1kW. This is combined with amazing high efficiency of 85% making this a gas stove that not only looks sensational but has performance to match allowing you to efficiently heat your room whilst being mesmerised by the stunning flame visuals.
Available in Natural Gas or LPG versions, the Wychwood Gas is designed for use with a balanced flue system. This means that the stove isn't restricted to chimney installation so you can fit it in almost any room in your home including main living areas, dining rooms, extensions, conservatories etc. The stove is room sealed which means it takes all of it's air required for combustion from the outside. This is done via the balanced flue kit where the combustion air is drawn through the outer pipe and the flue gasses are expelled through the inner pipe.
It is offered with a choice of dedicated balanced flue kits covering most standard installations. When positioning the ACR Wychwood Gas Stove against an external wall, the 'Rear Exit Snorkel Kit' exits from the back of the appliance and takes the fumes (and allows air into the stove) horizontally through the wall to the outside.
Alternatively, the 'Up & Out Balanced Flue Kit' comprises of a balanced flue is attached to the top of the stove and takes the fumes upwards off the top of the stove and then bends 90° to a horizontal section which exits through the wall to a terminal on the outside wall.
Additional balanced flue components can be purchased on more complex installations.
If you do want to install the Wychwood Balanced Flue Gas Stove into an conventional chimney, there is a 'Chimney Renovation Kit' available.
The interior of the stove can be enhanced by fitting the optional black glass panel which reflects the flames for more intensity. Full of cutting edge technology, the stove is supplied with a simple-to-operate remote control allowing you to turn the stove on and up & down. You can even add the optional MyFire package to your stove allowing you to operate the stove from your smart phone or tablet with the handy app. If preferred, you can upgrade to the Symax remote control to allow thermostatic operation and a range of other applications including a child-lock for safety.
