A large body with wide aspect viewing window for a superb view of the flames whilst retaining the favourable heat output rating of 5kW so it's ideal for standard sized rooms and in most cases, an air vent is not required.

Strong, air-tight steel construction finished in classic matt black, the FLARE Desire 5 Widescreen boasts multi-fuel capability allowing you to burn either wood or smokeless fuels. Primary and secondary air controls which are marked to make it simple to adjust the burn rate depending on which fuel you're burning whilst Actiview™ Airwash technology helps to keep the large glass window clean.
Built in the UK, the Desire 5 Widescreen is also available with the convenient log store base which is ideal for those who want to create a free-standing feature in main living areas, dining rooms, conservatories etc. The optional log store model features a raised fire chamber so it provides a wonderful eye level view of the flames whilst seated.
Compatible with a wide variety of installation options as the Desire 5 Widescreen has an interchangeable 5" flue outlet at the top or rear of the stove. It also benefits from being a 'Smoke Exempt Appliance' so it can be used to burn wood or smokeless fuels even if you are located in a smokeless area!

We offer Free Delivery within Mainland UK on all our products.
Smaller items such as inset gas fires and electric fires will be sent using a standard courier company. Be Modern complete fireplaces will be delivered on a special 2 man delivery service where the items will be taken into your home and all packaging removed. You will be contacted prior to despatch to arrange a suitable delivery day. A signature will be required on all deliveries.
