The Delivery Process

HotPrice DeliveryAt HotPrice we always want shopping to be a pleasant and satisfying experience for you and expect you to receive your products quickly and in pristine condition.

In order to achieve this, most of our deliveries are carried out by a bespoke delivery company who have experience in handling our products and who we have close contact with throughout the delivery process.

All the products offered on this website include free delivery to most addresses in Mainland United Kingdom.

Due to the continuing rise in costs for delivery to Highland areas we have reluctantly concluded that having absorbed these costs for a long time this is regrettably no longer possible and we have had to introduce a fee for delivery to Highland postcodes. Customers that live in the affected areas will be contacted when we process your order to be advised on specific extra charges and have the opportunity to confirm the order.

Mainland UK does not include Scottish Isles, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Southern Ireland etc.

If the product you have chosen is not a stock item we wait for the goods to come into our warehouse direct from the Manufacturer. All items go then through our stringent quality control department. Once all items have been thoroughly checked we will then contact you to arrange a delivery date.

Do not book fitters for your appliances until you have received and inspected your goods

Delivery Terms & Conditions

Delivery must be to the credit/debit card billing address. This is a precautionary measure we've had to implement to protect you the customer. Unfortunately fraudulent use of credit cards still exists and this is one of the ways we ensure that no one is using your card illegally. We hope you understand that this requirement is for your protection.

To delivery to an address other than the credit/debit card billing address or verified PayPal address, this can only be done if payment is made by bank transfer. Please contact us for more information.

All deliveries must be signed for. Please make sure you keep the receipts which will accompany your order.

Delays in delivery of goods is sometimes outside our control. As such, delivery cannot be guaranteed and any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only. We shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If we or our suppliers are temporarily out of stock or the item ordered is a special order, we will notify you of this position and you should allow up to 28 days for despatch of the goods.

The delivery charges stated cover ground floor only with a one man delivery, if you have any special requests for delivery (for example if you live in a flat or have a particularly steep driveway) please make us aware of this at time of purchase.

Heavy or larger items may be delivered on a pallet and will be kerb side delivery only. You must make your own arrangements for unpacking the pallet and taking the product into your home.

Standard sized items such as small inset gas fires and electric fires will be delivered by a national courier service. All deliveries will be a doorstep ground floor service and will require a signature and must be thoroughly checked within 24 hours.

Larger items such as stoves and complete fireplaces will be sent on a pallet. Pallet deliveries will be brought to your front door (subject to access) and you will need to arrange adequate means to take your order into your home. Under normal circumstances this may take 2 people. In these instances we kindly ask you to unpack and inspect the items in front of the delivery driver where possible and in the unlikely event of any damage please inform us immediately before the driver leaves.

We will not accept liability for any claims for goods which are damaged, incorrect, shortage or with missing parts which are not notified within a reasonable time after the goods were delivered.

All prices shown include free delivery to Mainland UK with the exception of the Chesneys HEAT range of outdoor barbecue heaters.

Collection (No Delivery Required)

We are happy for you to collect your products subject to the following:

  • You must have received conformation that your item(s) are in stock and ready for collection
  • A time and date must be agreed with a HotPrice team member prior to collection
  • You must bring the credit/debit card used to purchase your item(s) along with an official form of identification, which verifies your name and address such as a bank statement, driving licence or utility bill. Without this we are unable to release the products
  • We do not allow collections by 3rd party couriers or freight companies

We have several storage depots all in the Manchester area. When you are given conformation that your products are in stock and ready for collection, we will advise which warehouse to collect them from

Order Processing

Whilst we normally despatch stock items within 5 days from receipt of order, some products may take up to 28 days to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control as on occasions a particular item may be temporarily out of stock from the manufacturer or distributor.

Please allow up to 28 days for delivery for Special Order and Bespoke products.

We will keep you informed of your order and its progress and rest assured we will despatch your item(s) to you as soon as it becomes available.

Cancellations and Returns

If you are not totally satisfied with your goods for any reason, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days from date of delivery or collection for credit or refund provided that you return the goods as sold in pristine condition in their original packaging with all components and accessories. Goods must be returned at your own cost, complete and unused in as new condition; for example, if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so without damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in anyway and must be repackaged as received. This does not affect your statutory rights.

When returning products we strongly recommend you use an insured delivery service to return any items, we will not be liable for any damage caused by the courier on the return journey.

If we receive a returned item that is not in the condition we sent it or has missing components we reserve the right not to issue a refund.

Prior to returning any item(s) we must receive email confirmation of your request to return and the reason why you wish to return the product.

We will not accept liability if a product is not suitable for your chimney or flue. We strongly recommend that all customers view the product before ordering and have a survey carried out by a professional installer to check that the product is suitable prior to placing their order.
