Word within the fireplace industry is that it will be created using a combination of their amazing Opti-Myst effect and LCD technology which will create a amazing, ultra-realistic feature that most people will be baffled that it's not a real flame.

We're all really excited to see the Dimplex Opti-V electric fires at the annual trade fireplace exhibition in June and hopeful that they will put this new technology in a selection of fires that will be ready for sale for winter 2013. As soon as we receive any further details on the new Opti-V effect we will update this post so keep checking back. We have recently seen the amazing new Dimplex Opti-V range of fires at the annual trade show and are pleased to announce that we will be taking delivery of our showroom model as soon as it's released. Dimplex estimate that these fires will be in full production with display models being sent to showrooms around September (although this is subject to change as is often the case with brand new designs). As soon as we receive any more information from Dimplex regarding the Opti-V models, we will update this section. This new appliance will be offered in three formats; a hole-in-the-wall model in two sizes and a stove version. All 3 models will boast this unbelievable, hologram effect that amazed us all who visited the trade show recently.
