Using the very latest technology, this highly efficient gas fire has an impressive rating of 86%. The Elsie 890BF boasts an impressive heat output of up to 4.6kW whilst an in-built convector box ensures cooler wall temperatures around the fire. Flush fitting when recessed into the wall, a lovely, panoramic flame dances over a highly authentic log effect providing your home with a delightful centerpiece and efficient heat whenever needed.
Installation comprises of removing the internal brick work on an external cavity wall to allow the fire box to be recessed. A balanced flue pipe attached to the back of the fire exits through the external wall allowing the fumes produced by the fire to go outside. The pipe also allows air from outside into the fire for the combustion process and as the Elsie 960BF is glass-fronted, the fumes expel naturally meaning there is no fan or electric required.
An innovative slide control lever at the bottom of the fire provides an easy and discreet way to turn the fire on/off and adjust the flame height to your desired level. Despite its slimline fire box of only 174mm (7"), a reflective black glass interior gives the illusion of a deeper fuel bed whilst the beautiful log effect fuel bed looks superb even when the fire is not on. An attractive brushed stainless steel with anthracite edge detail frames the fire perfectly making it ideal for modern homes.

Most Elgin & Hall complete fireplaces and suites will be delivered on a special 2 man delivery service where the items will be taken into your home and all packaging removed. You will be contacted prior to despatch to arrange a suitable delivery day. A signature will be required on all deliveries.
The Elgin & Hall Evento and Arteon range will be delivered to you on a palletised delivery service. All pallet deliveries are kerbside/front door delivery only, so please arrange adequate means to take your order into your home. Under normal circumstances this may take 2 people.
