A dedicated wood burning version of Portway's stunning Luxima stove designed for those who want to burn logs only. A flat base is the optimum way of burning wood and this stylish stove gives you a glorious view of the flames through its large aspect viewing window.
Made in England using a combination of 5mm steel for the body to guarantee an airtight combustion with a robust cast iron door which won't warp over time no matter how much use it gets. The door features an attractive bevel edge adding a stylish and modern look to this beautiful wood burning stove.
Whilst packed with the very latest technology, the Portway Luxima is extremely easy to use. Once the logs are burning, you can easily adjust the burn rate to your ideal setting allowing you more time to sit back, relax and enjoy the warmth and ambience that a real wood fire offers.
The huge glass viewing window gives a wonderful view of the flames within. It features a powerful Airwash to ensure your view is kept clear so you can sit back and relax whilst enjoying the glorious heat and ambience of a real fire.
No matter what part of the UK you live in, you can still take advantage of burning wood even in smoke controlled areas as the Luxima wood stove is classed by DEFRA as a smoke exempt appliance. It also meets the 2022 EU standards for highly efficient, clean burning, ultra low emission stoves.
Designed for connection to a 125mm (5") flue at either the top or rear of the appliance, this superb woodburner is also shallower compared to other stoves so it is likely that it will fit into tighter installation spaces.
As the stove is slimmer in depth, the width has been increased whilst retaining the favoured 5kW heat output. This also gives a better visual look through the large glass front which is kept clean by a powerful Airwash system. It can accept logs up to 400mm (15¾") in length.
An optional direct air kit is available for installation into modern homes but in most instances, as the Portway Luxima Wood Stove has a nominal output rating of 5kW, additional ventilation is not normally required.
A multi-fuel model of the Luxima is also available for those who want the ability to also burn solid fuels (listed as a separate product).
Top quality finish
The steel stove body is made from 5mm thick steel and are one of the toughest, most robust on the market. Cast iron components are made from the finest quality cast iron. All stoves are finished with black metalized siloxane paint. Portway are so confident in the quality of all their stove bodies that they guarantee them for 10 years.
Quaternary and Tertiary Air System
Portway's tertiary and quaternary air supply uses the pressure difference generated inside the stove to draw in air at very high velocity through precision laser-machined spiracles. Fuel smoke particles are reignited in mid-flight causing additional flame combustion generating more heat and emitting fewer harmful chemicals into the atmosphere.
Stove lining
A high density vermiculite lining for perfect combustion acting as insulation to limit the loss of heat through the back and sides of the stove and directs it through the front and towards the centre of the room.
Airwash system
A pre-heated Airwash system keeps the glass window clean and clear by passing a stream of intensely hot air down the inside of the glass preventing flames and combustion particles from having contact with the window.

Pallet deliveries will be brought to your front door (subject to access) and you will need to arrange adequate means to take your order into your home.
