The Romney is a modern, freestanding electric fireplace from Suncrest. It offers an easy solution to instantly add a stylish focal point to any room with no chimney, flue or recess needed. Just plug in to bring the fire to life with its glowing log effect fuel bed and mesmerising LED flames.
Supplied assembled and ready to fix against a flat wall, the Suncrest Romney is constructed from timber and finished in a delightful combination of Textured White on the surround and hearth with a Anthracite back panel. At the heart of the fireplace is a square electric fire with attractive brushed steel 4-sided trim.
Operated by remote control with EcoDesign ready features such as a programmable timer and open window feature which automatically shuts off the heater if it detects a sudden drop in temperature. You can use the fire purely for an ambient feature on flame effect only setting and when the room gets a bit chilly, there is an integrated fan heater with 1kW and 2kW output settings.
At the widest point (hearth) the Romney measures 1270mm (50") whilst the top of the surround is slightly narrower at 1210mm (47½"). Ideally suited to standard sized rooms and a superb addition to main living rooms, dining rooms, extensions, conservatories and even bedrooms!
